We all talk a little funny...

Funny story.  Adam just asked me if my mom knew the honey we set on the bread garage was for her.  The bread garage haha, like where we park our bread?  AKA the bread BOX on the counter.  I just laughed for like 5 minutes.

He's upset with me for making fun of him now, but I just had to document this moment so that I will remember it forever because of the great joy it brought me:)

And then I googled bread garage and apparently, it's a real thing.  So my husband's not completely crazy. Unfortunately.

We both have our own little accents.  I like my eggs (ag's) a lot and he thinks that a pen and a pin are the same thing.  I just realized two days ago that he can't say cinnamon correctly.  Also, if we name our little girl McKinley, she will always have it pronounced in two different ways.

But hey, you should hear me say dragon...

Babies!!!

My sister had her beautiful baby, Gemma Jenay this past weekend!!! She went into labor naturally only one day after her due date which is pretty remarkable given family history.  Also, Gemma was only 7 lb 14 oz and 20.5 in SO small for us!  We got to go to Ihop and Gymboree while she was in labor that day and then she had her later that night.  Gymboree was having a good sale....:) Anyway, Gemma is so cute, especially when she is mommy-milk wasted as Shannda says.

And Niko has been doing pretty well with her so far.  As far as I can tell at least...

And then I had my OB appointment on Tuesday.  I didn't have my usual doctor, but had my Strep B culture done.  Anyway, this doctor said that I was measuring small and that my cervix was closed and high.  So, he had the ultrasound technician do a quick ultrasound on me to check on size.  I knew that the baby was still moving a lot, so I wasn't super worried.  During the ultrasound they found that the baby is breech:( and she is only in the 15th percentile for weight.  I am trying not to worry too much, but I've never scored that low of a percentile on a test in my life!!! And I am just praying for the baby to turn in the next four weeks.  Hopefully since she's so small she'll have more room to turn herself around.  Other than that, Adam just makes me eat a lot:( He won't finish my food for me anymore:(

Luckily, my gramma went and got some small baby clothes for Gemma and her soon-to-be cousin since they are both much smaller than expected!  Also, she fed me Chinese food tonight.  Thanks, Gramma:)

Other than all the baby news, we're both just trying to push onward towards the end of the semester.  Only 4 more weeks left of school!  Not that I'm counting or anything...

Also, Gemma had a TON of hair!  But the ultrasound technician said that our baby might give her a run for her money because she already has enough to see!

Ketchup

So I'm not the best at this blogging thing...Let's be honest, I was a terrible journal keeper too.  On the bright side, I'm very good at doing homework.  So maybe someone should just give me a due date and then I'll procrastinate until the night before or the day of but I'll get it done! Any volunteers?
Anyways, we've had some big life changes. Firstly, I'm pregnant! Just a little bit though.  We're expecting a baby girl in December.  Her due date is actually the last day of finals, so as much as I want to, I can't unrealistically wish for her to come early.  I am just wishing for the day after finals, that would be fabulous!
Adam got his face fixed!!! And what a very expensive face he has now! :)
This picture is from when I met Stacy to pick him up from the surgery center.  Taken after I recovered from almost passing out.  I'm not usually that queasy, but I was doing the whole morning sickness thing at this point , but we hadn't told his mother yet, so when the nurse asked if I was, I lied and just drank the juice box she gave me!  Hey, free juice!

And this is me reading him a book that came in the care package his younger sister, Turkey put together for him and sent with his mother:)

We also moved to Billings for the summer as usual, but this time we packed up all of our stuff and we're now attending Rocky Mountain College to finish up our undergraduate degrees.  We're hoping that Adam will get better grades at the smaller school and raise his GPA and network so that he can get into PT school when he applies next fall.  So we are living in my old bedroom and we have the bed up on cinder blocks, college style, so that we can fit more stuff underneath and it is really fun getting on and off the bed being seven months pregnant and all...
In addition to those changes, Eunice, my beloved high school/college transportation, was murdered.  You see we live on a through street and people in Montana like to drink and there are no street lights so it's dark.  It's a bad combination.  Anyway, she was hit parked in front of the house not once, but twice, within the past month.  So we bought a 2004 Nissan Maxima to replace her.  But there's still a hole in my heart where Eunice belongs. So many memories.  So reliable.  RIP Eunice.
Other than those drastic changes, life is boring as usual.  Ten credits of upper level math makes me want to cry.  Often.  But I'm over it because hopefully I only have two more math classes left after this semester!
Oh another exciting thing!  I wet my pants on Sunday morning!  Pregnancy is so much fun.
Oh and we got to go to California to be with Adam's family!  It was really great spending time with them and getting to know some of them better!  Not so great going to Magic Mountain and watching other people ride roller coasters when you love roller coasters so much you once wanted to endure the pain of obtaining a mechanical engineering degree just so you could maybe design some....but that was really the only painful part.  Well that, and the whole delayed and missed flights.  But other than that it was great!  I even learned a new non-coffee drink that I can get at Starbucks that is yummy:) Oh and we took lots of family pictures...

Well that's the crash course on my life for the past eight months or so.  Hopefully, I'll post more often now that I'm not dreading catching up!

My Husband Breaks a lot...

So my husband plays rugby...kind of like contact soccer with no pads. At least that's how I understand it, but I don't even understand soccer, so I'm probably not the best person to ask.  Anyway, it's pretty BA.  They had a game on Saturday and Adam wasn't expecting to play.  I had to leave at half time to go to my sister-in-law's baby shower.  While I was there, I left my phone in the car (as per usual) and so when Heidi and I left, I got in the car and checked my phone.  I had a missed call from Adam like 1.5 hrs earlier and a text reading: hey just fyi i am at the hospital er i got hit hard on the head. All nonchalant like.  Great.
So I called and then Heidi and I went to the ER and found him there.  Anyways, he broke his outer eyebrow bone to put it in terms I understand (I'm the math person, remember).  I brought him home and then went to Walmart to get his drugs and some groceries.  We went and got Panda and then watched a movie on Netflix like a normal night. Now he has a black eye and has to go see an ENT to check up on everything.  No big deal.
Don't worry though guys, he's still able to warm up my rice bag for me.

Weirdness...kind of like tallness

First off, let me just say that I remember how to spell weird correctly because it is weird. As in the e comes before the i because it's weird and doesn't follow the silly English rules.  They're more like guidelines anyway, because let's face it, they only work about half the time.

Anyway, I've always been kind of a weird and crazy person once you get to know me, but I thought that I had simmered down since I got married.  Well, I figured out it was the birth control and now that I'm not on it anymore and I don't cry all the time, I'm just as crazy as ever!  It makes me happy when I'm crazy because then Adam or whoever I'm with laughs at me and I like to make people laugh and feel like I'm funny:) Even though they're just laughing at me because I'm ridiculous, it's practically the same thing, right?

So, now that I'm exciting and weird again, why not share it online so that maybe even more people can smile at how strange I am? Lucky you, I'm gonna try.  So here's one episode of me having a conversation with myself and ending in an awesome pun:

Kd: Let's share a piece of bread.
Adam: Ok?
Kd, as she tears the bread into little sacrament sized pieces: This will be our kids favorite snack!(Then after thinking about that statement) Maybe that's not a good idea, we go to church and they take a whole handful of bread and say: YES! Sacrament!...More like Snackrament!!!

Train of thought there was great, I know. But the best part is-why was I even tearing the bread into little sacrament sized pieces in the first place?  I guess 21 years of three hour church just gets to you.  It could happen to you...
